By accessing the website at placentiaconcreteandmasonry.com or by engaging Placentia Concrete & Masonry for services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who requests or receives services from Placentia Concrete & Masonry.
Placentia Concrete & Masonry provides masonry, concrete, and related contracting services to residential and commercial customers in Placentia, CA and surrounding areas. Services include, but are not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, driveway pavers, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, walkway construction, and related work.
All services are subject to availability and site conditions. We reserve the right to decline any project that we determine falls outside our capabilities or cannot be completed safely or to our quality standards.
Written estimates provided by Placentia Concrete & Masonry are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. If site conditions differ materially from what was observed during the estimate - such as hidden damage, buried obstructions, or soil conditions not visible at the surface - the scope and pricing may need to be adjusted. We will notify you of any changes before proceeding with additional work.
Verbal estimates are non-binding. Only written, signed estimates form the basis of an agreement between the customer and Placentia Concrete & Masonry. Pricing is subject to change if the agreed scope of work changes.
We will make reasonable efforts to complete work on the scheduled date. Scheduling is subject to weather conditions, permitting timelines, and material availability. We will notify you as soon as possible if a scheduled start date needs to change.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled job, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs, where applicable.
If a deposit has been paid and the customer cancels without cause after work has been scheduled, the deposit may be non-refundable to the extent it covers costs already incurred. Specific deposit and cancellation terms will be outlined in the written estimate or contract.
Payment terms are specified in each written estimate or contract. In general, larger projects may require a deposit prior to the start of work, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Smaller jobs may be due in full upon completion.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Payment is due by the date specified on the invoice. Past-due balances may be subject to a late fee. If an account remains unpaid, we reserve the right to pursue collection through all legally available means, and the customer may be responsible for reasonable collection costs, including legal fees.
Title to any materials supplied by Placentia Concrete & Masonry remains with the company until full payment is received.
The customer agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. This includes clearing the area of personal property, vehicles, and obstructions prior to the crew arriving. The customer is responsible for notifying Placentia Concrete & Masonry of any known underground utilities, hazardous materials, or site conditions that could affect the safety of the work.
The customer is also responsible for obtaining any homeowner association approvals or easement consents required for the work, separate from building permits which Placentia Concrete & Masonry handles as part of the job where applicable.
Placentia Concrete & Masonry warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Specific warranty terms, if any, will be stated in the written estimate or contract for each project.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to: seismic activity, flooding, extreme weather, improper use or maintenance by the owner, damage from other contractors, or normal wear and tear over time.
Except as expressly stated in writing, all services are provided "as is" without any additional warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Placentia Concrete & Masonry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided or the use of this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to any customer for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by that customer for the specific project giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability - contract, tort, or otherwise.
